NWMLS Syndication to Realtor.com

Last Updated: Jan 20, 2017 02:46PM PST

This article applies to you if you have NWMLS listings as part of your IDX Broker service and you would like to have your own listings syndicated to Realtor.com.
If you would like information about syndication to other websites or you are not a member of NWMLS, please see our main syndication article here.

For years, REALTOR.com® and the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS) worked together to assure your listings the broadest exposure possible through the REALTOR.com® website, and the distribution network that reaches millions of home shoppers each month. Unfortunately, the NWMLS decided to no longer license the display of your listings on REALTOR.com® or to continue sending those listings on your behalf, effective July 1, 2007.

While Realtor.com no longer receives data directly from your MLS, MOVE® does have the ability to accept your office’s listings directly from you, as the REALTOR® Broker of record, and can continue to display your listings and primary photos on REALTOR.com® at no charge.

What you need to do:

The following forms need to be completed and faxed back to MOVE® at 480-556-4508. Please include "OPTION 2" on the fax cover page when sending all 3 of the signed documents:

1) REALTOR.com® Designated (BDCP) - Broker Data Content Provider Agreement

2) NWMLS Form 110 - Data License Agreement – This needs to be downloaded directly from the NWMLS website

3) Realtor.com NWMLS Broker Website Agreement

A. No. This process only needs to be completed one time, per REALTOR® office Designated Broker.

Q. How do I know if this has already been completed, and is currently in place?
A. This is a great question for your Designated Broker, and/or Realtor.com.

Q. How will you manage the off market listings?
A. MOVE® will not send the off market listings.

Q. How often does MOVE® refresh the data at REALTOR.com?
A. MOVE® will refresh REALTOR.com a minimum of once a day.

Q. Is there a single summary/notification document that was sent to all NWMLS Brokers from REALTOR.com about this change? If so, how can I get a copy?
A. The REALTOR.com "Letter to NWMLS Brokers" dated May 29, 2007 is available here for your reference.
