Your IDX Broker account includes several syndication tools that allow you to publish your listings on third-party real estate search websites.
To access these tools, go to:
Listings → Syndication
Syndication Options
On the Syndication page, you will see multiple syndication options available.
IDX Broker can generate:
- XML feeds formatted for many third-party real estate websites
- Standard RSS feeds
- Advanced RSS feeds
To enable a syndication feed:
- Locate the desired syndication destination.
- Click the value in the Enabled column to change it from:
n
to:
y
Accessing Your Feed URL
Once a syndication option has been enabled, IDX Broker will generate a feed URL within approximately 24 hours.
After the URL is generated:
- Return to the Syndication page.
- Locate the feed link in the Name column.
- Copy the URL and submit it to the third-party website manually.
Each syndication destination includes instructions for manual submission.
In most cases, the submission process only needs to be completed once.
After setup, the third-party service will typically check your feed automatically for daily listing updates.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do syndication feeds contain all MLS listings?
No. Syndication feeds only contain your featured listings.
Featured listings are listings associated with your agent ID in the MLS.
I enabled all feeds in my control panel. Is that all I need to do?
No.
After enabling a feed:
- Wait up to 24 hours for the feed URL to generate.
- Submit the generated URL to the third-party website.
This is usually a one-time setup process.
What happens if I do not have any active featured listings?
If there are no active featured listings associated with your account, IDX Broker will not generate syndication feeds.
Once active featured listings become available, the system will begin generating feeds automatically.
What if the website I want to syndicate to is not listed?
You can use your RSS feed to submit listings to other websites that accept RSS-based listing syndication.
Your RSS feed can be found at the top of the Syndication Options page in your IDX Broker control panel.
