Within your IDX Broker account are a few areas where you can modify the default location for your maps. Under Design -> Settings -> Global -> Map, the 'Global Latitude & Longitude' setting will govern the center point for all maps within your IDX Control Panel. For instance, this will determine the starting position of the map when using the Saved Link Polygon tool. The Map Search page has a specific area within the account to adjust the center latitude/longitude, zoom level, and so on.

- In your IDX Control Panel, go to Design -> Website -> Page Templates.
- Find the Map Search page and click the Edit link in the Preferences column.
- Go to Search Setup.
- Drag and drop the starting location of the map to the desired location. You can also adjust the zoom level, the highlighted area, the city/county/zipcode list, and so on. In addition, you can center the location of the map over your position by clicking the arrow button in the upper right.
- Click Save Settings.
