How do I connect my IDX Broker account to GoDaddy?
After you gain approval from your MLS to display listings, you will be issued an API key to plug into your GoDaddy account, which will allow the MLS data feed to communicate with your website.
Find the plus icon that displays when you hover over the pages, click it, search for IDX, and paste the API key where it says "Enter API Key".
How do I get my API Key?
If you need to get your API key, take a look at the Step-By-Step instructions by clicking here.
What if I don't have an API Key?
Before we can get you your API key, we need to make sure you are approved by your MLS. Once you sign up with us, you’ll receive instructions on how to get set up with your MLS and get approved. Once we hear back from the MLS, we will send out your API key in the Welcome Email.
How do I update my billing?
You can view and manage your billing information securely inside your control panel under the Billing Menu. Here you will be able to view or edit payment information, review the current invoice and past invoices, and get a breakdown of your monthly charges.
When will I get approved?
We provide listing data from hundreds of different MLSs. Each has its own unique approval process. The approval process can range anywhere from 3-5 days if all of the necessary steps are followed promptly. You will know as soon as we hear back from the MLS board.
Why do I have to do the MLS paperwork?
Every MLS approves each individual member/website to get access to their listing data. Since the MLS provides IDX Broker with the data, we have to make sure you are a member of the MLS and get their approval before we can activate the account.
I created a custom city list on IDX Broker, but it doesn't work on GoDaddy.
The IDX Broker Search for GoDaddy Website Builder is built through our API and does not honor custom city lists at this time. Please contact our Sales team for upgrading your GoDaddy account, or to explore other options.
How do I place IDX Broker widgets on my GoDaddy page?
Our IDX Broker widgets are created with JavaScript and the GoDaddy Website Builde allows you to add these as HTML.
I just want to show homes on my site, but I'm not a realtor…
In order to get access to listing data, you have to be part of your regional Multiple Listings Service and be approved to display that information.
