In office accounts, if lead routing is enabled, there are many routes upon which leads can be sent. Some methods of assigning leads to agents will override others. The priority ordering for generated leads is as follows:
System Assigned Lead – Once a lead has been assigned an agent in the admin control panel, that lead will stay with that agent until changed within the admin control panel. No other level (including agent cookies) will override this.
Manually Selected Agent - In the contact form, you can turn on a drop-down for the visitor to select a specific agent. If you have turned on the selector, visitors can select which agent they are assigned upon signup or using a contact form.
Agent Bio Cookie – A persistent cookie is set if a visitor accesses any IDX page on your site with an agent's internal ID appended to it. For example: http://yoursite.idxbroker.com/idx/search/advanced?agentHeaderID=1234
This is particularly useful if the agent is referring visitors to a search form on their company's site from a personal site or through email, so the agent can generate leads through the company's account without requiring their own personal account.
Listing Owner – If a new lead has not been assigned an agent or come in through an agent bio page, then the next priority is by listing ID. If a lead contacts you about a specific listing and that listing is owned by an agent in the system, the lead will be sent to that agent.
Contact Routing – If a lead does not meet any of the above criteria, then leads will be distributed per the contact routing options under Leads -> Contact Routing in the admin control panel.
Account Email – If none of the above classifications are met, then all leads will be sent to the primary contact email on the account.
