Overview
Local Content adds a neighborhood snapshot to your listing detail pages, so a buyer sees what it is like to live at a property without leaving your site. It is on by default, so it already shows on your listing detail pages with nothing for you to set up. It uses each listing's location to pull the right local data.
If you want to turn it off, or turn it back on later, you control that with one setting in your Design area.
This feature is available on the Engage and Elite plans.
Before you start
You need an Engage or Elite plan. Local Content is not available on Core.
Local Content covers US listings only. Listings outside the US will not show neighborhood data.
Turn it off or back on
Local Content is on by default, so you only need these steps if you want to change that.
From the main menu, go to Design, then Settings.
Open Global.
Select the Details tab.
Find the Local Content setting. Set it to No to turn it off, or Yes to turn it back on.
Click Save Changes.
Your listing detail pages update to match.
What buyers will see
On each listing detail page, Local Content shows a snapshot of the area around that specific home:
An interactive map centered on the property.
Scores for the things buyers care about: getting around (walk, transit, bike, drive), everyday amenities (shops, groceries, restaurants, cafes), schools, character, nature, and health.
Nearby points of interest, so a buyer sees what is actually close.
Schools near the address, with ratings where available.
A commute calculator for checking travel time to the places that matter to them.
How the area compares to the wider neighborhood and city.
Good to know
It is on by default, so you do not have to do anything to start showing it. The steps above are only for turning it off or back on.
The data is matched to each listing by its location, so you do not have to enter anything per listing. It applies across your eligible listing pages.
Every place the data appears shows a "Powered by Local Logic" credit. That is expected and cannot be removed.
The setting controls your whole site, not one listing at a time.
Troubleshooting
I do not see Local Content on a listing.
Confirm the listing is a US property. Non-US listings will not show the data.
Check that you are viewing a listing detail page (the single-listing view), not a search results page.
If you or someone on your account turned it off, set it back to Yes using the steps above and click Save Changes.
