Use this article to find, review, and update the primary account details stored in your IDX Broker account.
Where to Find Your Primary Account Information
Your primary account information is stored in the Account Details section of your IDX Broker account. This includes your URL, IDX subdomain, address, company name, and email address.
To access Account Details:
- Log in to your IDX Broker account.
- In the main menu, click Account.
- In the submenu, click Details.

What You Can Edit on This Page
On the Account Details page, you can update general identification and contact information for your account. The fields you can edit directly include:
- Display Name — The name that appears publicly on your IDX pages. You can set this to your personal name, your company name, or any preferred display name.
- Primary Email — The email address that receives all correspondence from IDX Broker. For single-agent accounts, all lead notification emails are sent to this address. Verify this address is current and correct.
- Address and other contact fields — General contact details associated with your account.
Changes That Require MLS Coordinator Approval
Some account fields cannot be updated directly. The following changes must be submitted to the IDX Broker MLS Team because they typically require updated paperwork from your MLS board:
- Company Name
- Primary Client Name
- Website Address (URL)
To request one of these changes, submit a request from our Help Center. Make sure to select the specific request type (Brokerage Change Request or Domain Change Request).
Setting Up a Custom Subdomain
A custom subdomain allows search engines to credit your domain as the content author for your IDX pages, which protects your SEO. If you would like to configure a custom subdomain for your account, refer to the Custom Subdomain Setup article in the knowledge base.
When to Contact Support
- You cannot locate the Account Details page.
- Your Primary Email is incorrect, and you are not receiving IDX Broker correspondence.
- You need to update your Company Name, Primary Client Name, or Website Address.
- You have questions about MLS paperwork requirements for account changes.
