Office and Team account users may tag any IDX link with their Agent code. This accomplishes two things:
- Any visitor to a "tagged" page will be assigned to the Agent ID provided by the tag.
- Any subsequent IDX page will display the Agent's custom sub-header (if the Agent has provided one via their bio settings).
Agent sub-headers allow agents to co-brand your Office website with their sub-header content. Each agent may simply append a unique tag to any of your IDX page links to direct their leads to your IDX pages. When a user visits one of those tagged page links, the Agent's bio sub header will appear at the top of every page on your site. More importantly, that lead will automatically be assigned to the Agent that sent the visitor to your site. By taking advantage of this feature, your agents are able to capture leads from any source, such as:
- Customer email communications
- Social networking sites like Twitter or Facebook
- Blog posts
Agents may add content to their Sub-headers by logging into their IDX Broker control panel. Click Account in the main menu, Users in the submenu, then Agents.
Choose an agent, and click the edit icon in the tools column.

Click Sub-Header in the row of tabs on the Edit Agent screen.
On this screen you will see the agentHeaderID tag for that agent, as well as an editor you can use to add sub-header content for the agent. This sub-header will display at the top of any IDX page that has been appended with the agent tag.
To advise an Agent on how to send visitors to an IDX page with their Agent ID appended, have them add "?agentHeaderID=[their unique number here]" to the end of any URL for an IDX page (or "&agentHeaderID=[their unique number here]" if the url of the page already contains a '?'). Examples:
