One of our latest templates for IDX Broker pages is Mobile First. As mobile devices take an increasingly large part of Internet traffic, it makes sense to design with mobile devices in mind. This is why IDX Broker has put a lot of work into creating this new template.
Our Mobile First layout is fully responsive. Place it into a responsive theme and watch the content size up or down automatically depending on the screen size.
Instead of standard lists, each field defaults to a quick-list. This means that upon selection, a field will show a dynamic list of options from which to choose.
The city/county/postal code search options are now a single field. To use this, just select and begin typing in the field. IDX Broker will recognize the text as you type and use the appropriate location field in the search. Any secondary refinement searches will continue to use this location field.
The additional labels on search pages and within the refinement search on results pages are available, but hidden by default to save screen space. If you would like to have these labels, you can inspect the page source and enable the appropriate CSS IDs. You can still hide other fields that you don't wish to use by editing the custom css in IDX Broker.
If your site is already responsive, you may want to turn off our mobile wrapper so that you can continue to use this new theme to it's fullest effect. If your main site is not responsive, then keeping IDX Broker mobile wrappers on may be a good idea.
