Framing Content Issues

Despite not being the recommended way to use IDX Broker, occasionally frames are used to overcome other website difficulties. 

This poses little issue, unless the IDX Broker terms of service are violated. We want to be able to provide everyone with IDX content that is not in violation with the MLS rules or our terms of service. Each IDX Broker account is licensed for one (1) web domain, as stated in the agreement.

The software may reside (whether built in or framed) within one primary domain name (URL), unless specifically agreed upon in the service agreement.

Only widgets, custom search forms and links are allowed to be displayed across multiple domains.

To prevent you from getting into trouble with your MLS and to remain in compliance with our own Terms of Service (TOS), you have to remove the frame with the IDX content on any unapproved domains.

As a workaround, there are several options:

Redirect

Set up redirect from the domain to the approved website, and the URL in the browser should display the approved website address after the redirect.

Second Account

Create another IDX Broker account and get approval for this domain.

Use Widgets

Use widgets to provide limited content on a secondary site.

Work within your existing account structure

Use the built in features to get the look that you desire, with different wrappers or agent headers
