Wrappers are the tools in your account that match your IDX pages to the look and layout of your website. For most clients, the Global Wrapper will be sufficient; however, if you would like to implement a unique look or layout for an individual IDX page or Saved Link, you can do so with Category, Page, or Saved Link wrappers. Wrapper settings are found in your IDX account under Design in the main menu, Website in the submenu, then Wrappers.
The Wrapper Management area gives you access to wrappers for any level of IDX page: Global, Category, Page, and Saved Links.

NOTE: Using Category or Page level wrappers is not required. If you want to have the same look on all of your IDX pages then the "Global" option is all that is necessary. You can see more about your Global Wrapper in this article.
Category Wrappers
Choose a Category level wrapper when you would like to include unique content in the wrapper for all of the IDX pages of a particular type. For example, if your website has a sidebar and you want to have no sidebar present on just your Search pages, then choose "Search" from the list of Categories. The IDX pages that will use this Category wrapper will be all of your existing search pages and any future search pages that you build.
Next select the type of wrapper you would like to create for this Category. The same three choices that are available for your Global wrapper are available for Category and Page level wrappers: Static, Dynamic, and Includes. See this article for an explanation of these types of wrappers.

While editing any wrapper, the blue bar will turn red when there are unsaved changes.
Once you've created your wrapper press Save Changes at the bottom of the screen and the bar will turn blue again.
Page Wrappers
Choose a Page level wrapper when you would like to include unique content in the wrapper for one specific IDX page; for example, you may wish to include a unique website header on just the "Email Updates Signup" search page.
Select the individual IDX page you want to wrap and also the type of wrapper you would like to use, Static, Dynamic, or Includes. See this article for an explanation of these types of wrappers.

Once you've created your wrapper press Save Changes at the bottom of the screen.
Saved Link Wrappers
You can also uniquely wrap any Saved Link you have already created. This is a great way to give that specialized content an even more unique look. The list on the left will automatically include all of your Saved Links and indicate with an icon which ones already have wrappers applied to them.
See this article for information about building Saved Links.

Considerations
How do I know when custom wrappers are applied?
- An icon next to the page or category name on the list will indicate any currently applied wrappers. C indicates a Category level Wrapper is in place for this page, P indicates a Page level Wrapper in place, and S indicates Saved Link Wrapper.
