Some Multiple Listing Services' contracts prohibit data commingling. This means that they do not permit their listing data to show alongside data from another MLS feed. Fortunately, IDX Broker has a solution that ensures you remain in compliance. There are no changes to the look and feel of your IDX Broker search pages for your users. All of the separation on a basic search occurs after the user initiates the search, in order to remain consistent and eliminate confusion. This only applies when BOTH of the following conditions apply to a specific IDX Broker account:
- The account has more than one active MLS attached to the account.
- AND one or more of the MLS attached to the account prohibit commingling of data.
IDX Broker will break out ALL non-commingle results into a separate tab on any results page of a search across multiple, non-commingle MLS.
The results tab that combines all commingle MLS is simply titled "Search Results".
Any widgets created on a non-commingle account have a Market Area selector which allows for the selection of only one MLS at a time.
Map search will load your primary MLS, and force the user to select one MLS or the other.
