You can choose which property type you would like to have as the default on your search pages. This is useful if you specialize in a type of listing other than Single Family Residential (Single Family Residential is always our default.)
Log into your IDX Control Panel and navigate to Design -> Settings -> MLS.
Select the Property Types tab. On this page is a list of the property types available from your MLS. If you have more than one MLS in your account, you can see the property types of each by selecting them from the "Working on" drop-down box above the table.

To change the default type select the radio button in the "Default" column next to the property type you wish to make default. This type will now be the default on all your search pages. It will be pre-selected when a visitor uses that search page. The visitor still has the ability to manually change the property type to something else if they wish.
If you would like to set a different Default Property Type for an individual Search page, you can do so in that page's Preferences. See this article for more information about individual Search page Setup.
To set default Min and Max price, enter the price range into the boxes under the "Default Min Price" and "Default Max Price" columns. These defaults will be automatically entered into the price fields on your search pages.
If you would like to set different default Min and Max price for an individual Search page, you can do so in that page's Preferences. See this article for more information about individual Search page Setup.
If you would like to Hide any Property Types or Subtypes for an Advanced Search, you can also do that in this section. See this article for more information about Hiding Property Types and Subtypes.
